Today, I am very happy to witness a historical event. The whole world is watching this historical event but I'm very emotional about it. When I was in 8th standard, I saw the news about 9/11 that was the incident that changed the whole world, and it was the beginning of Islamophobia. The USA always tried to kill two birds with one stone that is why The United States sent its troops to Afghanistan.
I still remember the day when I saw the news that NATO troops were landing in Afghanistan. Today, twenty years later, I see again that the US is withdrawing its troops from Afghanistan with shame, and the world has started to recognize the Taliban Government in Afghanistan.
The US suffered causalities, financial losses, and damaged the reputation of being a superpower. It has lost its moral legitimacy to be called Superpower.
But I have some questions that are pinching me.
• First, if the US was going to accept the "Taliban" Government in Afghanistan, why did they start that war first?
• Second, Will the United States ever be able to heal the wounds of this 20 years’ war that have damaged the region and this world?
• When Russia was a superpower, it was disgraced by The Taliban. And today, when the United States was a superpower, the US also suffered humiliation from the Taliban. The Taliban have defeated two superpowers of the world.
• What will the Taliban be called now? A superpower?
Ultimately, today the United States has also failed in front of the Taliban. After all, what kind of power does the Taliban have that No power in the world can stand in front of them?
In this war, the United States suffered casualties and financial losses and wasted two trillion dollars. In this 20-year war, if it was a matter of loss to the United States, it would have been different but, the people and army of Pakistan and Afghanistan also suffered financial and human losses.
This serious historical mistake of the United States has thrown the whole world into the fire of hatred. The American authorities should come forward and admit their serious mistake and apologize.
