Kind of HUMAN, but not treated as a human being
Transgender, who face discrimination, harassment, and bullying – from adults and kids alike – simply for existing. Moreover, they are left abandoned by their families or compelled to escape from home to join close-knit transgender communities. Why is this so? After all, Allah has made them that was not their sin to be born this way. besides, they deserve the same level of respect and love, as we do.
In contrast, the transgender community has fallen victim to harassment and sexual violence by the police and other powerful men. A very brutal, yet, accurate reflection of the problems faced by the transgender community is the recent ‘Sialkot incident’. There, a group of men from a local gang took hostage of several transgender persons and violated them throughout the night. The victims were brutally tortured, gang-raped, made to drink the urine of their tormentor, and burned with cigarettes. Besides, abuse was taped by the tormentors themselves and leaked onto social media to further embarrass the victims.
Apart from harassment, the transsexual community falls victim to a lack of educational and work opportunities. Since the transgender community is not really accepted in Pakistan, they have limited opportunities in comparison to everyone else. As a result, the seed of poverty begins to grow that results in homelessness or to become street beggars, dancers, and in the worst-case- prostitutes…
Then society blames them for spoiling the peace of nature, and what to say on the peace of those innocent hearts that you have crumpled the whole life???
A girl is always compared to an angel…
A boy is always compared to a bold character…
Then why not a transgender can be called as an angelic bold person!!!

WOMEN: Assets or Liabilities?
We are all born women and men. These are basic categories of human existence; acceptance of them unites religions and cultures. They are invaluable categories of social organization then why a boy is widely viewed as an asset; a future breadwinner, and caregiver who will not only look after his parents when they become old but also responsible for their new breed generation. A girl, on the other side, is seen as a liability, just because their parents are pressured by society to pay dowries when their daughters marry?
In contrast, Male education effects only his family while, when a woman is educated it can have a ripple effect within a family and across generations. Besides, investing in girl’s education yield a tremendous effect over a rotten society because when they know their rights it eventually develops the confidence to claim them properly. Moreover, they will also be less likely to become a victim in human trafficking. Indeed, when they are uneducated they become their prioritized target. Infact, women are the custodians of the values that sustain our society. How we see and treat them will determine the kind of future we create for the next generation. Now, it’s high time to stop debating about their worth and start seeing them as they should be: a valuable asset in society. Women's rights is not a women’s issue. It is human rights.
In addition to this, Women always endure themselves as homemakers and breadwinner as well if needed; however, in our society women are seen as a burden on the household and thankless responsibility. They are perceived as offspring who, unlike the sons, would not carry on the family’s name. Instead, a great amount of money would have to be arranged for their wedding which would benefit the homes of their husband’s families. apart from this, women contribute an essential part than any other gender. they take care of her family, nourish them, protect them like an umbrella in heavy rain, she does not get back in the hard knocks to step outside the home to earn and support her family without waiting for someone's help.
She's an asset, not a liability. She's the backbone. She's the one, not the one of many. She's worth a commitment. She's there to help, not to hinder. Let a woman be who God intended her to be, and your life will be better for it.
What happens when you raise voice against injustice?
While living in the 21st century, when some things are so transparent and open, the rural citizenry of Sindh has its own woeful tales to tell. They are hidden from urbanites, different in contours but similar in theme – extortion, abuse of political power, violations of laws and regulations is what these stories vividly speak of. What makes these stories different is the undertone of rebellion and a search for the straight path instead of succumbing to the crooked and devious.
One significant case from rural Setharja is that of Jogi goth. On Saturday 16th of march 2020, the Family of a reputed teacher, at IBA Jacobabad, was allegedly attacked by despot for just a piece of land. He was not only hurled abused but also threatened to leave the bargain while there is no room for a fair negotiation or face dire consequences. Prior to this, a number of court trials were held for over 4 months to resolve the matter through the law, and finally, when they got possession, this tragic event occurred. Because some people took the law on themselves for a piece of land. Does the question rise that all this because the victim claims the possession of property that belongs to him? Or is that out of fear and for the sake of peaceful life, it is necessary to compromise with louts, who threats at gunpoint and ask to do anything, no matter how wrong it is?
Would we, who believe in nationalism and justice, have to see such a day of misery, when a reputed teacher was brutally beaten by some influential people of a village just for a piece of land that yet officially belongs to him. Was it because he raised his voice against injustice?
This might be the first time they tried to take his land but if measure precautions are not taken, next time he will be left for dead. If we don’t speak up today for the injustice and misery of this case or in general then when tomorrow it is our turn or of someone we care, there will be no one left to speak out against it.

Explosive minds and silent hearts
Everyone is worried or anxious or down from time to time, this is so normal. but understand if you start experiencing this, all the time for every silly thing then this becomes a problem not just for you but also for your beloved ones in upcoming time.
Why do we start experiencing such things? How we automatically indulge ourselves in such things? How we can overcome these? and many many more such small sentenced questions hit us when we here of the person suffered this and at last loses the battle of life but we don’t get afraid of such things that they may happen with us rather we move forward saying “I will be able to fight it, the person who committed suicide was weak that’s why he/she took this major step.” I appreciate your will power but also keep in mind that you can’t say anything about anyone, and speak after you make sure that this won’t affect anyone.
Don’t wait for the things to happen but you prepare yourself in such a way that difficult situations also turn into simple ones. Now the question that arises in our minds is How? So the answer is as simple as your this one-word question but of-course difficult when we have to perform practical and that is don’t solve your problems on your own which means never see yourself alone, don’t hesitate in asking for help because keep in mind that asking for help is not a sign of weakness while its a sign of strength. It is not necessary that the person with whom you have shared and asked for the help will definitely come up with the solution you want but will definitely calm your mind which will help you in making a harmless decision. See, few common reasons due to which a person comes into the stage of depression are-success reasons, loneliness, family and social environment, money crisis and hardly some more but the way to overcome all reasons is support from your beloved ones, their love and their suggestions for you. I know this is not easy even the toughest thing it is to do that time but believe me its the most important and powerful way to fight against it.
“We only prepare ourselves for success and not for failure.” The most popular line on the internet today and this makes sense also, it should be popular not in just writings but also in practical life and everyone’s practical life doesn’t have the failure option. Now again we come up with the difficulty in finding the solution for this problem that how can we prepare our minds in such a way that are not acceptable by the society and this is also something which will not be liked by ourselves so obviously, why will I be preparing myself for failure when I m always successful and have never seen failure. This is not something you should be proud but this thinking is actually making you weak and taking you far from reality because you can only know your today but not tomorrow and as every coin has its two sides so don’t go with only positive possibilities as it is only giving you happiness for successful tenure which can be given by everyone and deep down some are familiar also with this fact but can’t accept because the arrival of such thoughts is enough to upset your mind and demotivation. To remain healthy we have to eat green vegetable which sometimes doesn’t taste good but for the betterment, we eat it so in some way for the betterment of your life you need to do this and this cannot be done in one day or two hence, you need to prepare yourself beforehand and now coming to the society, So you don’t have to shout and prepare your mind for this, tell me that will you be able to hide your failure when you really fail or will this preparation of your mind is going to harm your success, so definitely no, in fact, when you will not be able to bear both the pain together one, is your own and another of the people gossips so that time this is going to help in keeping you stable by decreasing the level of your pain.
at last, without adding any used and impossible advice I end it by saying that take every step as your parents do that is as they do everything after thinking of their children the same way you make your decision keeping them in mind because they will only be the one who won’t be able to bear that pain which in actual is going to be more and more painful than your failure so don’t take the decision on your own when your mind is explosive that is when you are not in the condition of seeing any harm and when your heart is silent that is when you don’t care about the people you loved so much in entire life.
Nigerian Government Releases N4.5bn Allowances For Striking Doctors
The Nigerian Government says it has released the sum of N4.5bn to 31 teaching and special hospitals across the country.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, disclosed this on Friday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari on the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by the National Association of Resident Doctors.
Ngige, flanked by the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, and the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, said that the money was released early morning of Friday.
Recalled that NARD had on Sunday directed its members to go on strike over the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment and poor remuneration for members as they battle the raging Coronavirus pandemic.
He said, “Just this morning, before we went to see Mr President, the Ministry of Finance reported that as at this morning, 3am, they have paid the allowances for hazard and inducement to 31 teaching and Federal Medical
Centres and specialist hospitals of the Federal Government service.
“And they have expended close to N4.5bn in the payment because we are paying them the arrears of April and May. The payment for June will also be done immediately these ones are sorted out.
“Again, it’s important to report to you that in consonance with what he’s saying, we have arranged a meeting for them to speak to the Nigerian Governors’ Forum because you don’t mix apples and oranges.
“The issue of health is on the concurrent list, so the federal government will do its own and the state government will be expected to do their own. Some of their grievances border on what they feel the state governments have not done.”
HEDA Petitions Code Of Conduct Bureau To Probe DG Of Nigerian Copyright Commission, Asein
The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) has asked the Code Of Conduct Bureau to probe the Director-General of the Nigerian Copyright Commission, John Asein, over the collection of double salary from government.
Asein is being accused of holding the position and collecting the salary of Executive Director of the Reproduction Rights Society of Nigeria while serving as a DG of NCC.
Sources in the NCC, who also affirmed the scandal, said Asein has failed to clear his name in the scandal, adding that he cannot raise the defense that he was working for another private company on a pro bono basis.
It was gathered that while making efforts to exonerate himself, Asein wrote a resignation letter to REPRONIG backdating the time of the submission of the letter to when he resumed office as the DG of NCC.
HEDA, in the petition to the CCB signed by its Chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju, said the offences were strict liability and are in clear violation of the country's constitution.
Suraju posited that the allegations levelled against the DG of NCC is a strong disdain for public accountability and established checks and balances under the laws.
The petition reads, "In the light of the report and the allegations by the anonymous caller and documentary evidence provided, we have distilled the following actions/allegations initiated against the Director-General of the Nigerian Copyright Commission.
"The collection of the remuneration after retirement, allegations of receiving salary between January to April 2016 after retiring in December 2015 which is contrary to the Code of Conduct for Public Officers.
"Whilst serving as a Director at the Nigerian Copyright Commission, doubled as a director f the Books and Gavel, private company limited by shares.
"Also, the allegations of receiving from a public office and holding the position of Executive Director of the Reproduction Rights Society of Nigeria (REPRONIG), a commission."
The anti-corruption crusader added that the allegations conveyed a flagrant abuse of office and the undue exercise of privilege and impunity by a public officer, stating that it portrays total disrespect for democracy and the constitution of the country.
"The above allegations runs afoul of Code of Conduct for Public Officer, Part 1, of the Fifth schedule in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Section 1 of the Code, which states that a public officer shall not put hiself in a position where his interest conflicts with his duties and responsibilities.
"Section 2 of the Code states that without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, a public officer shall not receive or be paid the emoluments of any public office at the same time as he receives or is paid the emoluments of any public office.
"Also, Section 10 of the Code, which states that a public officer shall not be a member of, belong to, or take part in any society the membership of which is incompatible with the functions or dignity of his office," Suraju added.
HEDA stated that it trusts the capacity of the CCB to thoroughly and urgently investigate and begin the probing of Asein without giving in to intimidation and corruption.
"We believe strongly in due process and the rule of law, which is why we are forwarding this petition to your office for an urgent action.
We humbly demand that an urgent and immediate investigation be initiated to uncover the true position with the aim to ascertain the verity and possible prosecution," Suraju said.
