THE PANDEMIC COVID-19
Where did it originate from? What is it? and how to prevent it?
ORIGIN
On December 2019 the China government confirmed with the health authorities that they were treating dozen of cases in Wuhan City. Few days later the declared that they have discovered a new virus “COVID-19”. At that time they did not have any knowledge the virus was being readily spread by humans. On January 2020 China reported its first death. The Victim was an old man of 61 years of age from Wuhan market place. It happened just before the Chinese holidays when thousands of people travel.
Soon after that other countries started confirming case. This happened due to tourist and foreign students that were studying in china for the time being. For Safety Measures all countries ordered that all nationals are advised to return to their respected countries effective immediately. But it was already too late because many had already been infected by covid-19. The virus takes about fifteen days to surface it. And by that time 166 countries were already infected. The first ones were outside mainland china Japan, South Korea and Thailand. On the next day the first confirmed from United States of America came in Washington DC, where a man in his 30s had started developing symptoms after returning from a trip to Wuhan.
On Jan. 30 The W.H.O. declared a global health emergency. Amid thousands of new cases in China, a “public health emergency of international concern” was officially declared by the W.H.O. China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said that it would continue to work with the W.H.O. and other countries to protect public health, and the U.S. State department ordered travelers to avoid China.
So far the Confirmed Case throughout the world is 797,490 from which 161,542 have recovered and 38,540 have died. The current confirmed cases in Pakistan have accumulated to 1,865.
WHAT IS IT? WHAT ARE ITS SYMPTONS.
In 2003, an outbreak of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) started in China and spread to other countries before ending in 2004. The virus that causes COVID-19 is similar to the one that caused the 2003 SARS outbreak: both are types of coronaviruses. Much is still unknown, but COVID-19 seems to spread faster than the 2003 SARS and also may cause less severe illness. Coronavirus can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed with a laboratory test.
COVID-19 symptoms include
· Cough
· Fever
· Shortness of breath.
COVID-19 can be severe, and some cases have caused death.
HOW TO PREVENT IT?
There is no coronavirus vaccine yet. Preventing measures involve

· Coughing into the bend of your elbow
· Staying home when you are sick.
You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
