WHEATS IN PAKISTAN
Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to markets. Agriculture provides most of the world's food and fabrics.
Wheat is one of the main agricultural crops in Pakistan, with 80 percent of farmers growing it on an area of around nine million hectares (close to 40 percent of the country's total cultivated land) during the winter or Rabi" season.
in recent year in pakistan the disease in the wheat due to over raining the diasease name is The stem, black, and cereal rusts are caused by the fungus Puccinia graminis and are a significant disease affecting cereal crops. Crop species that are affected by the disease include bread wheat, durum wheat, barley and triticale.
black "rust" in this diasease the beans of wheats are black therefore the grains of wheats are thin the early rates of wheats is 3300 per 100kg the farmer sales the wheats at this price and when the all the crops of wheats are stored by the broker thwe price of wheats is 4500 per 100kg.
All the hardwork by the farmers and the brokers get double commision by storing them This act is un fair able to the farmers thats they get low commision. The farmer are hard work through out the year and get low commision as compare to the brokers the farmers hardely gets his dues.
The gourment of pakistan has favour to the pakistani farmer to establish a teams for farmer that the former gets 100% profit of the crops there is no third party involed in the buying and selling the farmer is able to selling his crops to the buyer and get 100% profit.
The major production area is in Punjab (71.17 %), followed by the Sindh province (13.38 %). However, the yield per acre is slightly higher in Sindh (2,410 kg) as compared to Punjab (2,316 kg).
