ITEM SONGS CULTURE IN ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN
In Pakistan, item songs culture actually came from India. In their movies, women who are dancing in a crowd with wearing vulgar dress for entertain and amuse men. That’s called item songs which are common in Indian movies.
But as we see in our Pakistani’s movies that also become a common item songs which is really downcast for our media industries. Exactly and similarly our theatre culture have been ruined with these practices model performed vulgar item song and if we see in past times theatre was one of the prestigious platform where people come and enjoy watching messageful or comedy acts with family. This is also the reason why our film and drama industry got lack views because now people are love watching turkish series because they represent islamic spirit, culture and traditions. Our movies and dramas was played a very good role in our society. But today’s we feels shame while watching latest Pakistani movies with our family. Our young generations who are social active and follow our celebrities have got a bad influence on them through watching these types of material.
Harassment cases and child abusing rate in Pakistan is rising now as compare to past. Just because when these types of material will watch in every second house in our society. So, the young mind catch only negative things and will involve in bad activities because our media openly show and sadly say, appreciate a girl wearing short dresses and vulgar dancing among men and men are hooting her but still she going to entertain them.
Pakistan was found on the name of Islam. But very wilted say we are following Hinduism culture in our movies instead of showing our Islam culture or history of Islam. This is also very disappointed thing that those famous female celebrities who have a precious image in our mind but now they are just for earn piece of paper give priority for vulgar dressing and wants to going famous even if they get a opportunity of performing in other countries.
“Verily, obscenity and vulgarity are not part of Islam. Verily, the best people in Islam are those with the best character.” (Jabir ibn Samurah reported)
