For exp: if a person is titled as a "mad" by his colleagues and family members starts acting as a mad person bcz after some time his own mind starts to accept that some how it's true. In the same way if a person is appreciated he makes himself better and better.
What you think what is the reason of increased anxiety now adays, ofcourse news channels are a big source of negativity, how can a person feel good after listening bad news evey hour.
So if it's happening with you, then change your attitude. Review your words you often use in daily conversation, bring some gratitude and you will feel better. Thank to Allah Almighty for every thing you have. Avoid discouraging people, Keep in touch with friends who give you confidence and keep yourself busy reading any interesting book. And try to put positive things in your head bcz your brain never remains void if you will not put positive things in, it will attract negativity due to it's easy availablility..
